PR Studio terms of service

The agreement

PR Studio is operated by PR Studio LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PR Studio.

Your privacy is covered separately, by our privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to use PR Studio. By using it, you confirm that you are. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or at getprstudio.com/delete-account.

Coaching: we are the platform, not the coach

PR Studio lets independent coaches offer their services and lets clients hire them. This matters for who is responsible for what:

• Coaches are independent. They are not our employees, agents or contractors. We do not supervise their coaching, verify their qualifications, or review the programmes they write.
• The coaching agreement is between you and your coach. What they deliver, how often, and to what standard is theirs to agree with you and theirs to honour.
• We provide the software and handle the payment. That is the extent of our role.

If you are a coach

You are responsible for holding whatever qualifications, insurance, licences and registrations your jurisdiction requires, for the advice you give, and for your own taxes on what you earn. You confirm you are entitled to offer coaching services where you operate.

You keep ownership of the programmes you write. By sharing one with a client through PR Studio you give that client the right to use it for their own training, and you give us the limited right to store and display it so the app can do its job.

If you hire a coach

Hiring a coach gives them access to your training data and some of your health-related data for as long as the relationship is active. The privacy policy sets out exactly what they can see. Ending the relationship ends their ongoing access, but does not retract what they have already seen.

Payments

Coaching payments

• The coach sets the price. Each coach sets their own monthly rate, shown before you subscribe. You pay that rate, monthly, in US dollars, through Stripe.
• The platform fee comes out of the coach's share. PR Studio keeps 15% of each coaching payment as a platform fee, and Stripe pays the rest to the coach's own Stripe account. The fee is never added on top of the coach's rate.
• Coaches must complete Stripe's own onboarding and accept Stripe's terms before they can be paid. Stripe, not PR Studio, holds your payout details.
• Cancelling. A coaching subscription renews each month until the relationship ends. Either of you can end it from inside the app. Ending it cancels the subscription straight away, so there are no further charges. The current month is not refunded automatically.

PR Studio Pro

Pro is a paid subscription that lifts the limits of the free tier and adds features such as the AI coach. It is sold through Google Play, billed by Google, and governed by Google Play's terms, including its refund policy. Manage or cancel it in the Play Store. We cannot cancel a Play subscription for you, and deleting your PR Studio account does not cancel it.

Refunds and disputes

• Pro: refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Ask Google Play first; you can also email us.
• Coaching: a dispute about coaching that was not delivered is between you and your coach in the first instance. If you cannot resolve it, email us and we will look at it. We do not guarantee a refund, and we cannot make a coach give one. Your card issuer's own dispute process also remains open to you.

We may change prices. For a recurring charge we will tell you before the change takes effect, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

Your content, and how you behave

What you log, write and upload stays yours. You give us the limited right to store, process and display it so the app works — showing your history back to you, delivering a message to the person you sent it to, showing your coach what you logged.

You are responsible for what you post: messages, comments, names, photos, programmes and reviews. Do not use PR Studio to:

• harass, bully, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone;
• post hate speech, sexual content, violent or graphic content, or content that encourages self-harm or dangerous eating;
• send spam, or contact people who have made clear they do not want to hear from you;
• share someone else's personal information without their permission;
• offer coaching you are not qualified or permitted to provide;
• promote or sell anything unlawful, including unlicensed medical advice or controlled substances;
• upload content you do not have the rights to, or scrape, reverse engineer, or attack the service;
• route payment for coaching arranged here outside the platform in order to avoid the fee.

Reporting and blocking

• Report: you can report a chat conversation or a comment from inside the app. The person you report is not told who reported them.
• Block: you can block a person from their profile, or block and report someone from a comment. A blocked person can no longer message you, send you friend requests or see your activity, and any friendship between you ends. You can unblock people in Settings.
• What happens to a report: a person at PR Studio reviews it, together with the reported content as it was when you reported it. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close the account responsible. We handle reports as quickly as we can, but we cannot promise a particular response time.
• If you think someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Ending it

You can stop using PR Studio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.

If we close your account, active coaching relationships end with it, and any unpaid coach earnings already processed are still paid out.

What we do not promise

PR Studio is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result for your training. We do not warrant the quality, safety or legality of any coaching offered through it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, for injury arising from training, or for anything a coach does or fails to do. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change we will tell you in the app rather than relying on you to re-read this page, and coaches will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to appear in the coach directory.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away a consumer protection right that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.
