Delete your PR Studio account
You can delete your PR Studio account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us. This page explains exactly what happens.
Delete it from the app
- Open PR Studio and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account, read the summary, and confirm.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion. You will see the scheduled date in Settings until it happens.
Delete it without the app
If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, email support@getprstudio.com from the address on your PR Studio account with the subject Delete my account. We use that address to identify the account, and we delete it on the same terms described below. We act on an emailed request within 30 days.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Deletion happens 30 days after you request it. During those 30 days you can stop it two ways: tap Keep my account in Settings, or simply sign in to PR Studio again — signing in cancels a scheduled deletion on its own.
After the 30 days, the deletion is permanent and the data cannot be restored.
What is deleted
- Your profile, handle, email address and profile photo.
- Your training blocks and everything in them: weeks, sessions and every logged set.
- Your personal records, streaks, achievements and activity history.
- Your body measurements, nutrition logs and targets, and any progress photos.
- Your health and training questionnaire answers, and your AI coach check-ins and drafts.
- Your Gym Stream posts, and the reactions and comments you left on anyone's posts.
- Your notifications and device push registrations.
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used.
Any coaching subscription you are paying for is cancelled before anything is deleted, so you are not billed again.
A Google Play subscription to PR Studio Pro is not cancelled by deleting your account. Only you can cancel it, in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Cancel it first, or you will keep being billed.
What is kept, and why
These deliberately survive deletion. None of them carries your name.
- Chat messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation, shown as from "Deleted account". The conversation is theirs as much as yours, and we do not remove their side of it.
- People you blocked stay blocked. Removing a block when the person who made it leaves would silently restore contact for someone they chose to cut off. We treat that as a safety matter rather than a tidiness one.
- Reviews you left for a coach stay on that coach's profile, with your name removed. Deleting them would quietly change someone else's public rating and ranking because you left.
- Reports filed about a message, conversation or comment are kept as the record a review relies on.
- Custom exercises you created stay in the exercise list, because other people's programmes may use them.
- A record that the deletion happened, with counts of what was removed, keyed to your account's internal ID rather than your name or email.
Where a record involves another person — a friendship, a coaching relationship, a conversation — their copy is kept and your name and photo are removed from it. We do not delete other people's records of something they did not ask to end.
If you coach clients
If people are currently paying you for coaching through PR Studio, deletion is refused until those coaching relationships end — the app will tell you who is still active. End them from your coaching dashboard, then delete your account. This keeps your clients from losing a subscription without warning.
